I have to tell you… I was looking for a chill tune for Monday’s afternoon post. I figured it’s suckday, everyone is either tired of being in class or at work and will want to unwind to something with a relaxing vibe. Not going to happen because this gem made its way right into my inbox.

I like dubstep; I like dubstep more when it is mixed with other genres or a dj puts his own spin on dubstep creating a new monster. One of my favorite types of music with the wobbles added would be hip hop – dub-hop?

Enter Freddie Gibbs “Nation Anthem (Fuck the World)” remixed by DJ Quickie Mart. This track is very cool, has some solid wobbles, and solid rap lyrics. I tip my hat to DJ Quickie Mart – especially for the 1:10 mark drop, rest, and BOOM! Dj Quickie Mart is from New Orleans – strongly reping the NO dubstep scene. He’s put out a couple mixtapes that I’m not too familiar with at this point in time but will definitely doing some research in the near future.
